Some cars are as well known as monuments, paintings or films. They are an integral part of a country's cultural heritage. Citroën 2CV is part of this line.

After the first prototypes presented to the public, the days, the months, the years go by and the sales figures of the 2CV go up dramatically. We're not laughing at 2CV anymore. We can see that she's economical, and she's got a good ball. She's inconceivable. We can easily reach 300,000 kms.

The 2CV then enters the legend. His extraordinary adventures, his fabulous odysseys (travels, raids, adventures, journeys, hikes around the world) are told everywhere. The 2CV went around the world.

After forty-two years of a full career, his production ceased on 27 July 1990 in Citroën plant in Mangualde, Portugal. But the 2CV isn't dead anyway!

It remains forever in the memories of those who used it. With her, they went every morning on the way to work. She was the symbol of freedom and holidays. They took him all around the earth, playing into difficult situations by crossing the most simple continents in the world.

Today the Citroën 2CV is a passion, a real symbol that gathers around it many generations of unconditional through Clubs, demonstrations. A veritable historical monument to the French automotive landscape, this small rustic car, which has never been older, remains a terribly contagious youth.

« This funny little car makes fun of the time that passes and the modes that pass »

No current car deserves as much attachment as its millions of owners. No car is so fanatical. The clubs throughout the world from Brazil to Peru through the United States and Canada are ample proof of this.

No car in France has experienced such glory: The 2CV IS IMORTELLE!

Hello.
Old deuchist since 1965, I own a helios yellow Charleston (1983) renovated from bottom to bottom in 1998/99, I went around France (5436 km) in 2000 and Belgium 2004 + 3500 km etc! She's still as beautiful but with some signs of her 22 years of worry-free driving!
I am 76 years old and I arrive straight from Spain (before yesterday) in blue Mobylette, my other Dada!
See you soon.

Well, good morning to everyone,
With my father, we've always loved this car without ever taking the step. Three years ago we were going to give ourselves this wonder when Dad left us. I promised myself to find one, which I did shortly afterwards. It is 1986 valllelunga red. I use it every day, there's only salt that makes me leave it in the garage.
See you soon.
Pascal.
